Turkey Tenders
weight is approximate
boneless, skinless Tenders (two per pack)
Turkey Breast Tenders are another versatile option for dinner. You might think of them as petite, but a Turkey Tender is actually bigger than a full sized chicken breast and weighs a bit more than a pound. We love to put them in the crock-pot with a little broth until they are ready to shred. We then enjoy pulled turkey in burritos, white chili or sandwiches.
Wet Brine Mix
- A perfect blend of salt and seasonings for wet brining your poultry!
Comes with an optional 5 gallon bucket.
Instructions: Add brine mix to a large container with 1 ½ gallons water, stir and dissolve salt. Find a container to place bird on in fridge/cooler. Rinse turkey, remove giblets and place bird inside brining bag, so bird sits flat on bottom of bag and tie is upright. Pour brine mixture over bird, tie off bag and place upright in fridge/cooler. Keep refrigerated and let sit 24 hours in brine solution. Remove turkey, rinse and cook using preferred method.
Ingredients: Sun Crystal salt, course organic sugar, granulated garlic, ground sage, dried thyme, bay leaves, peppercorns and whole cloves.
This product is homemade and not prepared in an inspected kitchen.
Dry Brine Rub
- A delicious blend of seasonings perfect to use as a rub or dry brine for either turkey or chicken!
Instructions: Stir seasoning mixture before using. Remove the giblets and pat the turkey dry. Using a hand, loosen the skin over the breast and separate it from the meat and rub the inside with seasoning mixture. Sprinkle the mixture into the cavity, onto the legs and skin. Bend the wings back and tuck under the breast. Place the turkey breast-side up and refrigerate uncovered in a pan for at least 1 day up to 3 days. Do not pat dry or rinse before cooking.
Ingredients: Kosher salt, organic sugar, dried thyme, rosemary, sage, paprika, black pepper, mustard powder, granulated garlic and onion powder.
